Audio Restoration
- Audio restoration is a generalized term for the process of removing imperfections (such as hiss, impulse noise, crackle, wow and flutter, background noise, and mains hum) from sound recordings.
- I offer a free 30s sample of my work. That way you can assess if it is worth it.
Foley recording
- Foley is the reproduction of everyday sound effects that are added to film, video, and other media in post-production to enhance audio quality. These reproduced sounds can be anything from the swishing of clothing and footsteps to squeaky doors and breaking glass. Apart from having a huge sample library of my own, I can also record custom foley if the scene calls for it.
Dialogue Editing
- This involves enhancing and smoothing dialogue with room tone so that it sounds professional. I was trained by Gaston Roulstone, who attainded his knowledge at Shepperton Studios in Brighton, UK
- I have a wide range of acoustic and electronic instruments which I utilise to produce amazing large scale musical arrangements varying in style from classical straight through to electronic. My influences are Bruno Coulais, Iain Bellamy, Trent Reznor, Dave Tipper, Danny Elfman, and Hanz Zimmer.
Final Mix Engineering
- This pertains to the sonic balance of the foley, dialogue, room tone, music and sound effects in a production.
